Covid19: get vaccinated / get a European health pass

International students, Ph.D students and researchers of Rennes, you keep asking yourselves about vaccination and/or how to get a European health pass in France?  Find the information you need below.

The procedure to follow depends on your current vaccination status and your country of origin:

You are a student, Ph.D student or researcher from a EU country and you already are fully vaccinated

(or you are a non-European student but having been vaccinated in an EU country)

If you already are fully vaccinated, you should already have obtained your European health pass.
The European health pass is effective 7 days after you got your second dose of vaccination with one of the following vaccines: Astra Zeneca, Moderna, Pfizer, Janssen. Congratulation, you don't have to do anything more. When going out or traveling, always remember to carry your QR code and/or the “ Tous anti covid ” app. with you in order to be able to certify your vaccination status.

You are a non-European student, Ph.D student or researcher and you already are fully vaccinated

If you have completed your Covid-19 vaccination schedule with one of the vaccines approved by the European Union (Astra Zeneca, Moderna , Pfizer, Janssen), you can submit an online request to have your Health pass translated and effective in France and in the European area.

>>> Apply for my European Health Pass <<

You will have to submit these documents on the website:

  • Your ID card
  • Your visa or residence permit
  • Your vaccination certificate

You will then receive your vaccination certificate within a few weeks.

If you have completed your Covid-19 vaccination schedule with a vaccine that is not approved by the European Union, you can make an appointment at a vaccination center and request a TROD (serological test). If this test is positive, you will only need one injection of the vaccine.
Otherwise, you will have to complete a new vaccination schedule if you want to obtain the European health pass.
In France, vaccination is free. You can make an appointment on the "Doctolib" website to book your vaccination slots in any vaccination center.

In Rennes, vaccination campaigns are organized on campus to make it easy for students to make an appointment and get vaccinated as soon as possible.
